Pandora's Freshly Finished:
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2 was AWESOME! It was exactly what VALVe needed to do to follow up on the original Half-Life.
The puzzles were mindbending, the physics were fantastic, and I really enjoyed the new direction with the extra focus on individual characters.
The scientists in the original Half-Life were more set dressing than anything, but I actually give a shit about Doctor Kleiner!
My favorite chapter was Water Hazard. The airboat sections were super cool, and invading Metropolice-filled structures before escaping back to your boat was so COOL! It really felt like Gordon was in some kind of Spy Movie scenario.
The rebel AI in Anticitizen One and Follow Freeman made those chapters feel quite weak to me, but even then the story and game as a whole were just AWESOME.
